29 Dec 2018 Movement Research Workshop
I will be sharing a workshop in Oxford during the last week of the year. In this workshop, we will focus on the concept of 'when bodies meet' without perception, expectation, image nor judgements. We will explore a diversity of speeds, movement, and spontaneity yet remain in tune with ourselves and our dance partner. More information could be found here. Everybody is welcome!
14 Apr 2017 'That' - A self-funded research project Crowdfunding
Together with another 6 performing arts practitioners, curated by Lee Yeong Wen, we are working on a project that will be having an open sharing session on 14 April 2017 at 'The Yellow Cage'. 31 Mar ~ 2 April 2017 Movement/ Dance studies intensive workshop (31/3/17 - 2/4/17)
I will by facilitating an intensive workshop in Singapore at a weekend which the dates fall on 31 March, 1 & 2 April. In this workshop, we will focus on searching the connection in between the body, space, motion and sensation, to perhaps discover or rediscover on what we known and unknown, to simply notice and allow the body to evolve. Invited by Marebito Art Fundation, I will be giving a three day intensive movement workshop in Warsaw, Poland. Workshop is in improvisational setting. We will be dancing and exploring together. 25 & 26 Nov 2016 歸 (Guī) Roots
A team of NAFA dance graduates organising an alumni-only dance production this Nov 2016 which I am glad that I am invited to choreograph a dance item in this given platform. I will be doing an improvisational choreography 'What is...?' alongside with another 4 choreographers in the conventional performance setting. More details of the production could be found here.
18 & 19 Nov 2016 Frontier Danceland: Millieu 2016
As Frontier Danceland Ltd is stepping into its 25 years, as a former dancer in the dance company, I am invited to return to the company to be involved in their upcoming yearly performance platform - Millieu 2016, where the Artistic Director will be creating a full length dance choreography '一念' in collaboration with multimedia artist as well as sound designer and lighting designer. 12 Oct 2016 Dance Class at Dance Nucleus
I will be giving a contemporary dance class at Dance Nucleus on 12 October, 7.30pm to 9pm as part of their regular dance classes series. Class is open for all levels. 1 ~ 31 Oct 2016 Progress in Process
In October, I will be part of this month-long project. A group of 11 of us will gather in the space where we rent , to researching for an alternative approach to art/creative practice in Singapore. There isn't a production, and we will be continue researching what we had been interested even the month is over. You are most welcome to be the observers/witnesses in this month. 29 May ~ 02 Aug 2016 Workshops/ Festivals in Europe and Korea
For the upcoming two months, I will be away from Singapore to attend 2 contact improvisation workshops in Italy and Poland, as well as participating in World Dance Alliance - Asian Pacific in Seoul. I will also be on the road to further discover Europe in my personal interests. I will still be contactable through email as well as mobile phone. Excited to come back with more insights and perhaps more inspiration for researches!

Invited by Strangeweather Movement, I will be doing my ever first improvisation performance in a architecture installation together with Bernice Lee. 16 ~ 17 Jan 2016 Dancing In Place 2016
In this weekend, I will be back at my hometown, Malaysia, to present a improvisational work 'Domestic' conceived by Lee Yeong Wen at a private art centre Rimbun Dahan, as part of the site-specific performance week. The piece is in fact a contact improvisation piece which Yeong and I will be dancing together, and this marked my first contact improvisation performance, more details could be found here.

23 Aug 2015 SAMARPANA 2015 THROUGH THE EYES OF MY CITY
I have just just back from Contact Improvisation Festival Kuala Lumpur (CFKL 2015) and am ready to be dancing on stage again on 23 August! Samarpana Festival - The Asian Festival of Classical Dance is an annual festival of dance in Singapore. A tribute to Singapore on its 50th birthday, Through the Eyes of My City is a contemporary dance choreographed by well-known European choreographer Kalpana Raghuraman. I am currently working on a new creation along with another five dance artists in the upcoming production with PARAGRAPH - PHRASES '15. 23 Feb ~ 1 Mar 2015 Manila Fringe Festival
During this week, Leia Ang and I will be bringing our very first collaboration work, A Pair of Slippers, to tour to Manila, attending the Manila Fringe Festival 2015. We will also be giving total of four masterclasses to the public. Wish us luck!
